CYBerBlood

Inspired by the strengths and weaknesses of many table-top and video game systems, CyberBlood sought to do away with over-developed rule sets, cumbersome item management, and excessive calculations.
CyberBlood gameplay puts role-play and action first.

No Experience Points

CyberBlood is all about the here and now. Much like the ultra-maximalist world of the game, the system doesn’t force the player to wait for things on the horizon.

Players will never be counting experience points until they unlock their next damage buff or heroic feat.

No Leveling

CyberBlood characters are modular in a way that few RPG characters are. Because there are no levels, the strength of characters is only limited by their access to equipment and their base stats. A CyberBlood character can easily slot into an ongoing game without disrupting the GM’s flow or the difficulty of combat encounters.

In CyberBlood, strategy and teamwork are far more important than endless second chances and unlockable abilities.

Combat Matters

Combat in Cyberblood uses relatively strict, but simple, rules that govern a wide-variety of situations and use-cases. Following this core principle.
Combat is Simple, Brutal, and Chaotic.

SIMPLE
CyberBlood combat only splits hairs with narrow escapes and razor sharp blades, never by players and GMs. Easy to follow rules, and a lack of excessive dice rolling keeps combat feeling like an action movie, instead of a board game.

BRUTAL
Wounds spew fountains of blood, burns and cuts leave permanent, disfiguring scars, and explosions cause deafness and concussions. When encounters evolve into a battles, the threat of death is very real.

No healing spells. No resurrection. No cheating death.

CHAOTIC
All that blood is bound to pool somewhere. Weapons are loud, explosions are louder. Fire spreads fast, and rubble liters the ground following a particularly messy encounter. There’s no such thing as a clean gunfight in CyberBlood.

Fate and Skill

Like any card shark will tell you, it’s not always about the first hand you’re dealt. Good or bad, a CyberBlood character’s fate is determined not by only by dice rolls, but by the company they keep and the choices they make.

Choosing the right class, traits, gear, and allies can mean the difference between life at the top, or being crushed underneath.
